Our Goals!
The SignVET project is committed to building a more inclusive future for vocational education and training (VET) across Europe.
Our main goal is to make VET more accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing students by integrating national sign languages into everyday teaching and learning.
To achieve this, SignVET focuses on three key objectives:
Empower Teachers
Provide VET teachers with tools and training to easily create course materials in national sign languages.
Improve Accessibility
Make learning environments more inclusive by offering course content that deaf students can fully understand and engage with.
Promote Sign Language
Encourage hearing students to learn basic sign language skills, bridging communication gaps and promoting mutual understanding.
